SUZANNE M. MATTESON


Suzanne Matteson is an organization development consultant and executive coach with over twenty years of experience working with senior leaders and teams. She is President and Founder of Matteson Consulting Group, a company dedicated to enhancing an organization's capability to achieve its milestones by accelerating individual and team performance.


Suzanne is known for her ability to diagnose a situation and develop on-target interventions, exercises and activities to positively impact the outcome. She creates an environment where individuals can openly express their opinions. This allows Suzanne to get a true picture of the situation from an individual standpoint and put the pieces of the puzzle together in an objective manner.


She is certified to provide Human Synergistics' LSI/StylusTM interpretations and in Lominger's The Leadership ArchitectTM Suite of Products, all of which are 360-degree competency based assessment and development tools.


Suzanne started her career as a human resources generalist at CIBA-Geigy Corporation, with her last position being the Director of Staffing for the Pharmaceuticals Division. Management, coaching and business development positions at two career management firms, Right Management Consultants and Seagate Associates, followed this experience. In those positions, Suzanne advised and assisted numerous Fortune 500 companies in major restructuring projects and consulted with companies in the areas of managing change and executive effectiveness. At Right Management Consultants, Suzanne was the Managing Principal for the state of NJ, responsible for the P&L of the region, as well as leading 15 consultants in three locations.


She holds a BS degree in Business from Mercy College and is an active member of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, United Way of Morris County's Women's Leadership Initiative, NNJ-ASTD and NJ SHRM.

DANIEL J. KOWALSKI


Daniel J. Kowalski is a businessperson with over twenty-five years of industry experience in human resources development, general management, finance, strategic planning, business development and quality/productivity. He is a Principal with the firm and utilizes his diversified expertise to guide corporate and individual clients who are leading and implementing organizational and/or personal change initiatives.


Dan's unique combination of experiences allows him to know the inner workings of corporations, the challenges of business and how to maximize the contributions of leaders, individual contributors and team members. In particular, he employs state-of-the-art tools, techniques and models to help individuals to internalize and implement the lessons learned during the consulting process.


Prior to joining the Matteson Consulting Group, Dan managed the Princeton, NJ office of Right Management Consultants, one of the world's largest human resources consulting firms. Prior to that he worked in management consulting with Coopers & Lybrand and held director level positions in various divisions of Bristol-Myers Squibb. He has knowledge of the pharmaceutical, chemical, medical device, consumer products and financial services industries.


Dan has advised senior and middle management executives on improving leadership skills, utilizing 360-degree feedback, identifying talent, motivating staff, resolving conflict constructively and building effective teams. His work includes individualized executive coaching, as well as team development programs.


He received his B.S. from The Wharton School (concentration in Personnel and Labor Relations) and his M.B.A. in Finance from New York University. Additionally, he has taught business courses at the college level and holds leadership positions with various civic and service organizations.
